Goodbye to Daniel and Well done for 300 marbles!

We say goodbye to Daniel today and we'll miss him...especially as we have the football tournament this week.Good luck in Singapore, Daniel, and keep in touch by email or blog comments.

We made 300 marbles today and will be celebrating with a 40 minute session in the computer suite on Tuesday, from 11:30 until 12:10.

It's a busy week this week:

• Egyptian Day on Wednesday - Parents, don't forget you can come and watch, from 8 until 9am. Children will then be doing a selection of activities until past breaktime. The Egyptian feast (remember 3W is responsible for bringing cakes and biscuits) will then take us until lunchtime.
• Interclass football on Friday morning, from 8ish to 10ish (on the fields on the other side of Soi Lasalle.

Brand new student council reps for 3W!

Congratulations to all of the candidates for applying to be student council reps:

After talking about their ideas in front of the whole class and having a secret vote and a very exciting counting process...the elected reps are:

I'm really pleased to have so many children who are keen to take part in their council and who want to take responsibility for how their class, year group and school works.

This book continues the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The main settings in this book are the Mr Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and Outer Space! The Bucket family went into space in the Great Glass Elevator after it went out of control. The main characters in this book are Mr. Wonka, Charlie and Charlie’s Grandparents who apart from Grandpa Joe behaves just like the children in the first book. Whilst I did not like this book as much as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I would recommend it for 8 to 10 year old girls and boys.
