Silly materials

Why do we use wood for making chairs? Why not mud?

Why do we use plastic for making pens? Why not diamond?

Why do we use glass for making windows? Why not thin slices of ham?

Why do we use cotton for making shirts? Why not metal?

We used the sheet below to help us investigate why we use materials for different objects. Use the properties sheet for help.

  1. Hi Mr.ben

    This is me Jonah.
We don't use mud for making chairs because it will fall down and make lots of damage.
we use wood because it is very strong and when is fall down it does not have lots of damage.
