






We reviewed what we know about 3D shapes today...faces, corners and edges...for the common shapes, including the cube, cuboid, cylinder, sphere and pyramids.
Have a look at the great polydron shapes we made.
Can you spot the triangular prism, the tetrahedron (triangle base pyramid), the dodecahedron (twelve pentagonal sides) and even the truncated octahedron (what a mouthful that shape is)? This shape has two different kinds of faces:square and hexagonal.
It was so fun making and breaking the shapes with the polydron! Did I mention that I'm in one of the pictures!
