Great came for learning your 100 square AND developing your investigative skills!

This NRICH challenge really makes you think about the 100 square.
Try to think carefully about patterns that you see in a normal 100 square...what is the pattern in the first column of the normal 100 square, under the number 1?

This should help you solve it.

You could also print it out, cut out the pieces and solve it like a jigsaw.

Go here to see a normal 100 square to help you solve the challenge.
